Intro: *blink* This is Warlic again, Hero. I see that in order to pass through
the levels of Xan's volcano, you will need to uncover clues to solve his
riddles. If my guess is correct, these were compiled during our years in school
together. They should hopefully make sense, since he did not lose his mind
until after the... incident. Good luck, Hero. Warlic
Continue your journey to find out the way back to Battleon. But you must do the
task at each level from the Xan's riddles (well, you can't actually see the
Xan's riddles, though, just only the Quests Button) to go up further.
Task 1: Level 1
Description: Cruel Death, thief of
days, takes the price you will not pay. Using what you hate the most in a
neverending slaughter. What child of mine meets its end when it first
encounters water?
To pass: Smother 10 Flame
Elementals, douse 5 Lava Elementals
Items Required: Charred Clue (7)
Rewards: 100 Gold, 100 XP
How to:
Defeat Lava Golems and Flame Elemental to get Charred Clue. After that report
back to Xan's Riddles (err... the Quests Button) to get your reward.
Task 2: Level 2
Description: I am both hard and
soft. I give heat and run from it. I am engaged in an all-consuming activity,
living off my own energy and, when I am finished, I will die. What am I?
To pass: Gather 3 Eternal Embers,
snuff out 10 Dwakels, Smother 3 Fire Imps
Items Required: Broiled Clue (7),
Eternal Ember (3)

How to:
Defeat Fire Imp and FlameThrower Dwakel to get Broiled Clue. Then collect
Eternal Ember. (CLICK HERE for Eternal Ember Image) and click at it to get the

Button) to get your reward.
Task 3: Level 3
Description: From stone comes fire.
From fire, dust. Black is red, and red is white. Before taking, seek you must.
I am gathered where you lack sight.
To pass: Smother Flame Elementals
and Fire Imps until you receive the Cauterized Clue.
Items Required: Cauterized Clue (1)
Rewards: 300 Gold, 300 XP
How to:
Defeat Fire Imp and Flame Elementals to get Cauterized Clue. After that report
back to Xan's Riddles (err... the Quests Button) to get your reward.
Task 4: Level 4
Description: I am that which will
not burn nor drown.
To pass: Place 8 Firepits and douse
10 Lava Golems.
Items Required: Blazing Clue (10),
Blazing Campfire (8)

How to:
Defeat Lava Golems to get Blazing Clue. Then place Firepits. (CLICK HERE for

Task 5: Level 5
Description: The more you have of
it, the less you see. Fire is its enemy. Tell me quick, what could it be?
To pass: Extinguish Flamethrower
Dwakels, Fire Imps and Flame Elementals until the Combustible Clue.
Items Required: Combustible Clue (1)
Rewards: 500 Gold, 500 XP
How to:
Defeat Flamethrower Dwakel, Fire Imp and Flame Elemental to get Combustible
Clue. After that report back to Xan's Riddles (err... the Quests Button) to get
your reward.
Task 6: Level 6
Description: All about, but cannot
be seen, can be captured, cannot be held, turning candle into conflagration.
To pass: Extinguish 5 Lava Golems
and 5 Fire Imps.
Items Required: Flaming Clue (10)

How to:
Defeat Fire Imp and Lava Golem to get Flaming Clue. After that report back to
Xan's Riddles (err... the Quests Button) to get your reward.
Task 7: Level 7
Description: It cannot be seen, it
weights nothing, but when put into a barrel, it makes it lighter. Fire cannot
consume me, but smoke will escape me. What is it?
To pass: Extinguish 12 Wisps of
smoke.
Items Required: Wisps of Smoke (12)
Rewards: 700 Gold, 700 XP

Task 8: Level 8
Description: A box without hinges,
lock or key, yet golden treasure lies within. Fire will can cook its inside
without leaving a mark on its outside. What is it?
To pass: Smother Flamethrower
Dwakels and Lava Golems until the Toasted Clue drops.
Items Required: Toasted Clue (1)
Rewards: 800 Gold, 800 XP
How to:
Defeat Flamethrower Dwakel and Lava Golem to get Toasted Clue. After that
report back to Xan's Riddles (err... the Quests Button) to get your reward.
Task 9: Level 9
Description: One by one we fall from
heaven down into the depths of pest. And our world is ever upturned so that yet
some time we'll last. Removed from our captivity, fire turns us into
prison-glass.
To pass: Distribute 8 Lava Shards
and smother Fire Imps.
Items Required: Lava Shard (8),
Torched Clue (10)

How to:
Defeat Fire Imps to get Torched Clue. Then find Lava Shard Placed Location.

Task 10: Level 10
Description: What has roots that
nobody sees, is taller than trees, full of liquid inside, but have no doubt
that all of it will become stone without.
To pass: Extinguish Flamethrower
Dwakels, Lava Golems and Flame Elementals until the Incinerated Clue drops.
Items Required: Incinerated Clue (1)

How to:
Defeat Flamethrower Dwakel, Lava Golem and Flame Elemental to get Incinerated

Task 11: Level 11
Description: People need me but they
always give me away. They have me to burn, but if they did, they would be left
with nothing. What am I?
To pass: Restore 10 Basalt Rocks to
their environment and extinguish 10 Fire Imps.
Items Required: Basalt Rock (10),
Melted Clue (10)

Defeat Fire Imp to get Melted Clue. Then find Basalt Rock Placed Location.

Description: What goes round the
house and in the house but never touches the house, is made of fire but will
never burn the house?

Task 13: Level 13
Description: What appears at night,
burns with light, but never catches on fire?
To pass: Remove 12 Kindling Logs
from the Volcano

Task 14: Level 14
Description: What goes round and
round the wood but never goes into the wood, can be burned off and leave its
body unharmed?
To pass: Extinguish 5 Flamethrower
Dwakels, 5 Fire Imps and 5 Flame Elementals.

How to:
Defeat Flamethrower Dwakel, Fire Imp and Flame Elemental to get Roasted Clue.

Task 15: Level 15
Description: What can live in a fire,
then goes into water red and comes out black?
To pass: Douse Lava Golems and Fire
Imps until you receive the Scorched Clue.
Items Required: Scorched Clue (1)

Defeat Fire Imp and Lava Golem to get Scorched Clue. After that report back to

Task 16: Level 16
Description: What kind of room has
no windows or doors and when set on fire becomes food?
To pass: Place 10 Flaming Torches
around the Volcano to guide future stranded heroes.
Items Required: Flaming Torches (10)

Task 17: Level 17
Description: I can run but not walk.
Wherever I go, thought follows close behind. I turn red in both heat and cold.

Task 18: Level 18
Description: Iron roof, glass walls.
Burns and burns. And never falls.
To pass: Extinguish 8 Flame
Elementals and 7 Fire Imps.
Items Required: Singed Clue (15)

How to:
Defeat Flame Elemental and Fire Imp to get Singed Clue. After that report back

Task 19: Level 19
Description: I'm the source of all
emotion, but I'm caged in a white prison. It can burn or turn to ice depending
on who you are talking to.
To pass: Collect 6 Living Embers and
douse 10 Flamethrower Dwakels and 3 Fire Imps.
Items Required: Living Eternal Ember
(6), Smoking Clue (13)

How to:
Defeat Flamethrower Dwakel and Fire Imp to get Smoking Clue. Then collect
Living Eternal Ember. (CLICK HERE for Living Eternal Ember Image) and click at

Task 20: Level 20
Description: The heart of the
volcano has come to life, magma solidified into a soldier's form. Servant of
Xan, enemy to those who would extinguish his power.
Only by defeating him will you be able to exit the volcano alive.
Items Required: Magman Defeated (1)
Rewards: 2000 Gold, 2000 XP
How to:
Defeat Magman.
If you manage to defeat Magman, Warlic will arrive and told you, "Hero! I
am glad that you arrived safely. Xan has disappeared, and I cannot track his
location by any means, magical or otherwise. I fear what Xan will do once he
learns you've escaped. He is... unstable. To put it bluntly, his mind is
consumed by a molten madness. We will have to tread carefully from here on out.
Who knows what incendiary incidents he'll bring about?".
Then Warlic told you the story about Xan, "Xan and I were once students
together. We were both talented beyond the rest of the students and we competed
in all things, but none more fiercely than for Jaania. There was an accident.
Please don't ask me about the details but I was forced to save Xan's life the
only way that I could think of...
Flames consumed Xan's body, but before he could die, I reached out and tapped
into raw elemental magic. I transformed those flames into healing flames. They
still burn like fire but they keep Xan alive. His hatred for me plus constantly
having his flesh healed and burned away at the same time has driven him mad. I
am responsible for the pyromancer.
The accident that caused Xan's condition also sealed Jaania into a magic
crystal. She is living, maybe even aware, but I cannot free her. I have been
searching for years but I cannot find a safe way to free Jaania or cure Xan but
I will not stop looking until I succeed, die or Xan takes his revenge on
me".

Intro: Welcome to Basani, Hero... or what's left of it. That volcano has been
asleep for centuries but Xan came down, riding a wave of lava, laughing like a
maniac and started throwing fireballs all over town. None of us are heroes, we
don't know how to handle this. Can you help us?
Andesi is my only child but as the only teacher in town I know each of the
town's children. I feel responsible for protecting them. If anything happens to
those kids...
Task 1: A Town Divided
Description: Thank you for helping!
My son, Andesi, and the other kids are trapped in the Mill at the other end of
town. The stone walls should protect them from the fire but we need to know
that our kids are OK. Please go check on them.
Items Required: The Mill is Sealed

How to:
Scout entire area until you found the Mill. After that report back to Scoria to
get your reward.
Task 2: The Miller's Key
Description: It was smart of the
kids to lock themselves inside the mill, but the miller says that he dropped
the key in the confusion when Xan attacked. He saw one of the monsters pick it
up but he's not sure which. Find the monster with the key and head straight to
the mill. Tell my son not to worry. We'll be together soon.
Items Required: The Mill Key (1)

How to:
Defeat any enemies to get the Mill Key. Then go inside the Mill using the Mill
Key. When you entered the Mill, you'll see a cutscene. If you don't see a
cutscene, then re-enter the Mill and wait for a few seconds.
TALK TO ANDESI
Intro: Have you come to save us? We're ok for now but a lot of the kids are
scared. I'm doing what I can to keep them calm but we can't stay in here. You
have to find a way to get us back to our parents before something bad happens.
When Xan came into town it was pure chaos. People running everywhere but it
seemed like... he was splitting us up on purpose. The way he was throwing
fireballs, hitting certain spots. He was making it impossible for kids to stay
with their parents. And the way we all ended up together? What does he want
with us?
Task 1: Trailblazer
Description: Thanks for coming fo
rus but until Xan takes his monsters and leaves our town, we're trapped here. I
think it might be safe enough for us to make a dash back to our parents if you
get rid of 12 of the fire monsters. Let me know when the coast is clear.

Task 2: Fire Brigade Of One
Description: You took care of a lot
of Xan's monsters but now the fires raging through town are getting out of
control. We have a well but the monsters have stolen the bucket! See if you can
find our towns only bucket on one of the remaining monsters.

How to:
Defeat any enemies to get The Only Bucket In Town. After that report back to
Andesi to get your reward.
Task 3: Fire Control
Description: Now that you have the
bucket you'll be able to put out the fires. You'll have to do it once bucket of
water at a time. Refill your bucket at the well in town then click on each fire
you see until they are all out!
Items Required: Blazing Inferno Doused

How to:
Get the water from the well. After that douze the Blazing Inferno that you
found. Then you must get the water again from the well to douze the blazing
inferno completely. After that report back to Andesi to get your reward.
Task 4: Andesi's Family Pendant
Description: I was hoping that it
would be safe enough to get everyone's back together but it's still too
dangerous. You've been gone a long time. I want to get a message to my mom but
I know she's freaking out. If you get the Pendant from my house, I'll put a
small note in it and she'll know it's from me. We live in number 26, near the
well. Find the Pendant, please.
Items Required: Andesi's Pendant

How to:
Go to the House number 26, that near the well. Then go to the 2nd floor and
search at the floor to find Andesi's Pendant. After that report back to Andesi
to get your reward.
Task 5: Signed, Seared, Delivered
Description: Ok, all you need to do
is deliver this to my mom, Scoria. Once she has it she will relax a little.
We're just ride things out here. Don't worry. We'll be OK.

Go talk to Scoria to give her Andesi's Pendant. After that report back to

TALK TO SCORIA
Intro: You're back! But where is Andesi and the rest of the kids?! If you don't
get rid of Xan, I have a feeling that we'll never see each other again!
Task 1: The Xan With The Plan
Description: I know that he's insane
but Xan must WANT SOMETHING?! I don't think he's just going to go away on his
own. You are strong enough to face Xan. Defeat him and find out why he's come
here.

How to:
Defeat Xan. He'll be standing near the well.
If you manage to defeat him, he will told you that he need an apprentice, not
from kids but from their parents. But, the kids must choose which one of their
parents that goes into Xan's apprentice. In order to prevent your interference,
Xan create a deep lava chasm between the parents location and the children
location.
After killing xan, you can now go to the next and final map! HURRAH!

TALK TO WARLIC
Intro: Something about the name Shurpu sounds very familiar but I just can't
place it. All I can remember is something about a library. If you find that
Library and you are able to get inside then Andesi and I can do some research
and find out why Xan is here.
I am dubious, Hero. Xan has never needed an apprentice before. I don't know if
it's because he has grown more mad or if he has something else up his sleeve,
but none of this adds up. I just hope we can get to Scoria before he
"cleanses" her mind.
Task 1: Locate The Sealed Library
Description: These ruins are ancient
but The name Shurpu rings a bell. I think there is a Library here. We should be
able to find whatever Xan is alter in the Library. Once you're found it, come
let us know where it is.

How to:
Scout entire area until you found the Library Door.
Task 2: A Powered Library Lock
Description: I've seen doors like
that before. There is a code that will open the door but first you will need to
power the lock. Gather 10 fire gems from the local monsters and you will be
able to get the lock powered up.
Items Required: Shurpu Fire Gem (10)
Rewards: 2000 Gold, 2000 XP
How to:
Defeat any nearby enemies to get Shurpu Fire Gem. After that report back to
Warlic to get your reward.
Task 3: Luminate the Library Lock
Description: Ok, the lock should be powered. Go find the sequence to light
up all three gems above the door and come back once you have opened the
Library.
Items Required: Library Door

How to:
Go to the Library Door's location. At the left, you will some buttons that you
need to push in certain combinations to unlock the Library Door. CLICK HERE to
see the Library Door Buttons Image.
To open the Library Door, press with these combination: 1 2 1 321 21341 (with
the top button as number 1) [Thanks to: Thien2011AQW].
If you go back to Warlic's position near the front of Xan's cave, you will see
his note, that read "Andesi and I have moved to the Library to begin our
research. We will be expecting you".
TALK TO WARLIC
Intro: Thanks for gaining access, this is a much more easily defended point. It
also give Andesi something to do until we find his mother. I won't be able to
get any work done until you clear out some of these monsters. I'll stay with
the boy
Task 4: Defend the Library!
Description: With all the fire
monsters here in the ruins it will be pretty hard to get any studying done. Go
clear the hallways near the library and by the time you get back we should know
what Xan is after.

How to:
Defeat nearby monsters. After that report back to Warlic to get your reward.
TALK TO WARLIC
Intro: OF COURSE! The Ring of Shurpu! I NEW these ruins rounded familiar! If
Xan gets his hands on that ring, then whole world will go up in flames. His
fire magic will be unstoppable! But if I get it, then I can use it's magic
against him! YOU MUST GET IT FIRST!
Task 5: Crossing Over
Description: According to this
schematic you will need to cross that lava filled gorge to get to the Hall of
the Shurpu Guardian. Go gather some Fire Wire and Lava Salts from the monsters,
and pick up any boards you find lying around.
Items Required: Fire Salts (10),
Fire Wire (10), Board (8)
Rewards: 2000 Gold, 2000 XP
How to:
Find the Board. The Board will mark by the Arrow. Click it to get the Board.
Then defeat any nearby enemies to get Fire Salts and Fire Wire. After that
report back to Warlic to get your reward.
Task 6: Guardian Of Shurpu
Description: With the bridge in
place you will be able to access to the Hall of the Shurpu Guardian. Be
careful, with that ring, he will be far stronger than the other monsters in the
ruins. We'll wait for you here.
Items Required: Ring of Shurpu (1)

How to:
Defeat Shurpu Ring Guardian to get Ring of Shurpu. After that report back to
Warlic to get your reward.
Task 7: Face Xan
Description: With the Ring of Shurpu
on my hand I can feel my fire magic dwerfing all my other magics! Xan won't be
able to throw anything at us that I can't throw right back at him. Let's go
face him in his throne room. It's beyond the Hall of the Ring Guardian.
Items Required: Here's Xan (1)
Rewards: 2000 Gold, 2000 XP
How to:
Defeat Shurpu Ring Guardian to get Ring of Shurpu. After that report back to
Warlic to get your reward.
Then at the Xan's throne, Xan hold Andesi's mother captive. He want you to give
the Ring of Shurpu to him in exchange with Andesi's mother. Agreed, you give
Xan's the ring and Andesi's mother safely return to her son, Andesi.
But, instead letting all of you go free, Xan want to destroy you and your
friends. Fortunately, you already aware that Xan's will cheated you, so before
you go to Xan's throne, you go to Escherion Tower and use the Inversion mirror
to reverse the effect of the ring, so, instead increasing the fire magical
power, it will reduce the fire magical power.
And the more good news, before he put the ring into his fingers, Xan use charm,
so nor you and Warlic can't remove the ring from Xan's finger. With the effect
of the Inversion Mirror, only you or Warlic that being able to remove the ring
from Xan's fingers.
Seeing he's trapped with his own ring and can't do the fire magic at all, you
left Xan alone in his chamber.
After that Warlic told you, "I have sent Scoria back up to the town but
there is much to be learned in these ruins. I have decided to let Andesi help
me organize the scrolls and do research. He has a sharp mind. With his help, I
have already uncovered many pyromantic spell scrolls that have not been seen in
ages. I could train you to be a pyromancer if you like...
It's good to know that Xan has been rendered harmless. I doubt he'll give us
any trouble from now on. I still wish there was a way to repair his fractured
mind. Who knows, maybe the answers can be found here in this lost library!
[BECOME A PYROMANCER] Pyromancers are magi who control the element of fire with
their magic. Xan is a powerful Pyromancer but not all pyromancers are evil or
insane. Fire, like any tool, can be used in a positive or negative way. Fires
warms us, cook our food and give us light, but it can be a powerful weapon for destruction

Description: If you wish to gain
access to the Pyromancer Shop you will need Shurpu Blaze Tokens. If you bring
me a piece of Guardian Shale from the Ring Guardians, then I will craft it into
tokens for you.

Shurpu Blaze Tokens. If you bring me a piece of Guardian Shale from the Ring
Guardians, then I will craft it into tokens for you.
